Acupuncture has been practiced for over 3,000 years in the East and is increasingly being recognised in the West as a stand alone treatment and a complement to Western treatments and interventions.

What patients are Saying
I was treated for a gluten intolerance and a previous whiplash injury. I was very pleased with the treatment. Alexandra listened to what my issues were and explained the treatment principles well. I felt an improvement in both conditions after just one treatment and after a handful of further treatments, both conditions significantly improved, and are now not affecting my day to day life at all - I can now even eat fresh crusty bread! Thank you very much Alexandra Illingworth Acupuncture.

Alexandra treated me for arthritis in my hand. After just one treatment there was a noticeable difference in the improved mobility of my finger joints and in the reduction of pain and swelling. Alexandra listened to the issues I had in my hand and took time to explain to me how acupuncture worked and the forthcoming treatment plan. Alexandra was kind and gentle, thank you.
